New! Request a Call-Back from Your Call Summary or Dashboard


Our receptionists are your receptionists — in addition to taking calls, we can also make outbound calls on your behalf to clients, new leads, associates, or anyone else. Whether you need us to call a lead back for immediate follow-up or gather more information for an appointment, we can make the call every time. Now, we can make these call-backs directly from a link in your call summary or call dashboard!

Our new call-back feature makes requesting calls easy. Click a link in your summary (or call dashboard) to request the call, and we'll confirm an appointment, collect payment, gather and relay information, or anything else. Making quick check-in calls can be surprisingly time consuming: Let us cover these day-to-day tasks while you focus on real work.

Ready to get started requesting call-backs? Good news! This feature is already included in your call summaries and dashboard, so there's no need to opt-in or enable it. And it’s simple and easy to use — just click the link, tell us what to say, and we’ll make the call.

Note: Each call-back counts towards your monthly quota — there's no added charge for the request

How do call-back requests work?

Request a call from your call summary emails

At the bottom of every call summary, you’ll see the link “Request a call-back to this caller” beneath the options to “Always block this caller” and “Always route this caller directly to me.” The link brings you to a Request a Call page, specifically catered to the caller from your call summary.

The Request a Call page contains a call summary for reference and prompts you to:

  1. Choose a phone number for the caller (if they have two or more phone numbers)
  2. Choose a reason for the call-back
  3. Tell us what to say when we get your caller on the line
  4. Tell us what to do if they don’t answer

After filling out this short form, click “Submit Request” and our receptionists will see your call-back request immediately. We’ll promptly make the requested call and then you’ll receive another detailed summary informing you what happened during the callback.

Request a call from your call dashboard

Not all call-back requests come immediately after the initial call. For delayed requests or, say, to have all your leads from the last week followed up on, it could be easier to use your call dashboard.

Here’s how: From your Call History view, click on a call. You’ll see the caller’s contact information, the call summary, and, now, a link to “Request a call-back to this caller!” Click the link and you’ll be brought to the same Request a Call page as the call summary link. Fill out the form, click submit, and we’ll make the call ASAP.

When might you need a receptionist call-back?
