New Feature: Outbound Receptionist Calls from Your Business Phone Number

2022-05-31 receptionists have made outbound calls for our clients from the start, but until recently, when we made those calls, your number appeared on caller ID. There are two problems with this:

  1. Phone call recipients are less likely to pick up because they don't recognize your number (unless your number is your business number)
  2. Call recipients add your number to their phone book and use that to try to reach you, instead of your main business number

Both of these issues affect your ability to effectively and consistently communicate with your potential new clients, existing clients, and others.

Now, as a part of our outbound call back service, you can opt to have your main business number appear on caller ID when we make outbound calls on your behalf, which solves these problems.

How to Activate Outbound Calls From Your Business Phone Number

Making outbound calls from your business number incurs an add-on fee of $10/month to cover setup and ongoing monitoring and maintenance. If you'd like to proceed:

  1. Send an email to with the main business number you wish to appear on caller ID when we make outbound calls for you. Also, tell us if this phone number has SMS (text message) capabilities.
  2. If your business number does have SMS functionality, we will send you a verification code. If not, we will make a test call to verify your number.
  3. When these steps have been completed, we will confirm your setup is working properly.

That's it! Now, any time we make an outbound call on your behalf, our receptionists will appear to be calling from your main business line.
