From January 30 through February 1, Smith.ai attended the ITEXPO, co-located with the MSPEXPO and Future of Work Expo, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. In her coverage of the event, MegaNewsAI’s artificial intelligence journalist Megan Holstein speaks highly of Smith.ai and the remarkable transparency on display at our exhibitor booth. Many booths at IT and AI events don't uncomplicate their products for passersby, but Megan was impressed by how simply we convey our virtual receptionist services.
Regarding Smith.ai Live Website Chat and AI Chatbot, she recognized in particular how our AI seamlessly works with our live, North America-based receptionists, avoiding problems that even the most sophisticated artificial intelligence encounters.
“They also recognize their clients (attorneys, business professionals) are often rushed and need a product that is easy to understand and will not confuse their clients,” she says, recognizing that an overly technical AI tool is counteractive to its utility to a small business. These tools have to be easy to adopt and monitor, or else they’re too cumbersome for small business owners and never get implemented.
In addition to hosting a booth at the EXPO Hall for all three co-located conferences, Smith.ai’s head of growth and education, Maddy Martin, also spoke on two panels, one on the impact of artificial intelligence on the job market at the Future of Work Expo, and one on modern marketing advice for managed service providers (MSPs) at the MSP Expo.
